- Standard application fee: $75 (non-refundable)

Note to alumni who wish to re-apply: Priority is given to new students. Please contact joe@fontainebleauschools.org before submitting an application.
General Requirements (All Applicants)
Please prepare and submit the following materials:
- Resume/CV
- Photographs
- Required: One 2 x 2 inch ID photo (full face visible, head facing the camera directly).
- Do not include instruments or objects blocking your face.
- Do not send scans of passports or driver’s licenses.
- Optional: Up to 4 professional headshots/publicity photos.
- Required: One 2 x 2 inch ID photo (full face visible, head facing the camera directly).
- Letters of Recommendation
- Two letters from current or recent teachers (preferably music teachers).
- Application Fee
- $75 (non-refundable).
- $150 for late applications.
- Deposit (Upon Acceptance)
- A non-refundable $500 deposit must be sent within two weeks of notification to hold your place.
Program-Specific Requirements
Instrumentalists
- Submit at least 15 minutes of performance video.
- Acceptable formats: any standard video file, YouTube, or Vimeo links.
- File limits: max 500 MB per file, 1000 MB total submission size.
- Repertoire:
- String players: must include a Bach solo selection and, if possible, a work by a French composer.
- Pianists: must include a work by a French composer.
Composers
- Upload the following:
- Two notated scores (PDF format).
- High-quality audio recordings of performances of the submitted works.
- File limits: max 500 MB per file, 1000 MB total submission size.
- Important Note: Professors work primarily with notated scores. Please do not submit:
- Improvised scores
- Graphic scores
- Scores intended for other media (dance, theater, visual art, etc.)
